MARTIN LIEW

Martin Liew, an award-winning architect who has a solid Canadian architectural experience after graduating from the School of Architecture, University of British Columbia, Canada. As a registered Architect in BC, he is also a member of the Leadership in Energy and Since 2003, Mr. Liew has contributed to over 200 projects, showcasing his proficiency across diverse domains including large-scale town center planning, community master planning, mixed-use commercial and residential high-rise design, and detailed interior design. Offering a comprehensive suite of architectural consultation services, he excels in areas such as building design, systems coordination, construction administration, document production, and project management.

 

 

Mr. Liew has been involved in several international competitions and received the 1st prize in the Town-eshift international competition in 2010. Additionally, in May 2014, Mr. Liew and his team from Vancouver and Shanghai participated in the Wulumugi International tendering project - "Transit Oriented Development - Subway-Transi Line #1" in collaboration with the Shanghai and Shanxi Design Institute. His efforts led to two of their designs being awarded 1st and 2nd places, solidifying Mr. Liew's reputation for his distinctive architectural design approach, seamlessly integrating North American design principles into projects within an Asian context.

 

 

Sustainability, achieving net-zero energy consumption, and incorporating green design principles are current architectural trends. Mr. Liew's design of the first 12-story Hybrid mass timber apartment project in Coquitlam highlights his commitment to pioneering sustane ractices setting a benchmark for environmentally conscious urban Mr. Liew's strength is to balance all aspects of the design and aesthetic factors, handling complicated project without having the integrity of highest quality design compromised. Awards 2014 1st prize in Wulumuqi International Transit Oriented Development tendering project on Subway Line #1 - South Gate Station.
