Positive Outcomes from the Southpoint Place Public Information Meeting

Martin Liew of WGA unveiled the Southpoint Place development on November 12, 2025, at the South Surrey Recreation & Arts Centre, Turnbull Gallery. The proposed six-storey modern Zen style building with 117 residential suites received encouraging feedback.
Residents praised its attractive architecture, well-planned landscaping, and standout living (green) wall for visual appeal and environmental benefits.
Attendees welcomed the project’s contribution to community growth and appreciated neighbourhood-focused amenities that foster interaction and vibrancy. Environmental features, including tree preservation, minimal shadowing, and underground parking, were also positively received.
Overall, the meeting highlighted strong support for the project’s design quality, environmental focus, transit accessibility, and community-serving features.
