CEDAR LIVING RESIDENTIAL APARTMENT

10, 9 and 7 Storey of Residential Mixed-use

Cedar Living is a carefully planned seniors’ housing development designed to meet the needs of West Vancouver’s aging population while preserving the site’s natural and cultural heritage. Located at 530 Inglewood Avenue, this 3.6-acre site will be transformed into a vibrant community offering 67 serviced apartments, 160 independent and assisted living units, and 147 long-term care suites. Designed to enhance the senior living experience, the development includes a variety of amenities and small businesses, some of which will also serve the broader community. Cedar Living is strategically positioned near existing seniors’ facilities, fostering a connected and supportive neighborhood. The project prioritizes sustainability by concentrating development on the western 23% of the site, featuring three mid-rise towers—7, 9, and 10 storeys—integrated into a four-storey podium, while the remaining area is dedicated to an auto court, extensive landscaping, and the preservation of riparian habitat. With a total buildable area of 342,207 square feet (2.18 FAR), the project balances efficient land use with a lower density than comparable developments. Community benefits include relocating the No. 255 Ambulance Station, introducing a child daycare center, and preserving a culturally modified tree, ensuring Cedar Living not only meets housing needs but also enriches the broader community.
